James is the Senior Director of Anchoram's Critical Infrastructure industry line and forms part of our Cyber GRC team. He brings over 20 years of experience across Enterprise technology with a focus on management, advisory, architecture, systems engineering and cyber security with particular focus on operational technologies in the utilities and transportation sectors.
Prior to joining Anchoram James has established the cyber security practice for the private operator of the Sydney Metro Northwest, the first fully automated railway in Australia and has worked as part of the development group for the Australian Standard for Cyber Security in Rail AS7770.
Most recently working for a large distributed State Government Water and Energy distributor in a management role, he oversaw maturity uplifts against the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) and also provided the initial architectures to deliver substantial cyber security tooling.
James has also led organisations in the Commonwealth Critical Infrastructure Centre Energy sector rules co-design workshops and the Australian Cyber Security Centre national utilities exercises for Water & Energy.
When not off protecting rail networks you can find James lounging at the beach or digging around in the garden.
